About us
PAYP Netball Leagues
Community netball. Pay as you play — no pressure, no fuss, just great netball & a way of meeting new people.
Our story
PAYP Netball Leagues was founded with one simple idea: make netball accessible to everyone. No pressured commitments, no expensive memberships that have to be paid up front — just join one of our teams & enjoy great netball.
We run three leagues across Derbyshire — Sunday evenings at Tupton Hall, Tuesday evenings at Shirebrook School, and Wednesday evenings at Tibshelf Community School. Each league has its own character and community, but they all share the same welcoming spirit.
Whether you're a seasoned player returning to the sport, a complete beginner, or somewhere in between, there's a place for you here. We've seen friendships formed, fitness improved, and plenty of brilliant netball played on our courts.
Player information & T&Cs
Although we are an unaffiliated league we pride ourselves on having competent, friendly umpires on every court and following England Netball rules — players must adhere to player code of conduct and show the highest level of sports etiquette at all times. These can be found in the 'Rules' tab. By taking part in PAYP Netball Leagues, all players understand and accept that the league, umpires, and team management take no responsibility for any injury or loss sustained during participation. There is no league liability insurance in place — players are responsible for arranging their own personal insurance or cover if required. Neither the league nor its umpires will provide financial compensation for any injury, loss, or damage incurred.
